| | | | | | | | | Background: | | The Construction Board of Adjustments & Appeals provide remedy for any disagreements in interpretation of the Building Codes. Any person claiming that the Building Official or Fire Inspector has misconstrued or incorrectly interpreted shall apply to appeal the decision to the Construction Board of Adjustments & Appeals for a determination. The Board is made up of seven members including: 1) one member with a background in a fire-related occupation; 2) three members with background in construction-related occupation; 3) one member with background in engineering/architecture; and 4) two members from any occupational background. A detailed description of the Board and current members is attached. Currently, there are two vacancies for members with a occupational related background. The Building Department recently received a resume from Mike Hagel, requesting appointment to the Construction Board of Adjustments & Appeals.
