| | | | | | | | | Background: | Mandy Conner of Northeast Florida Advocates for Autism and Related Disabilities, Inc., is planning the 4th annual Katelyn's Ride for Saturday, April 8, 2017. The event will feature a golf cart poker run in Pirates Woods and parts of Chester & Blackrock roads. Since these are not roads designated as roads in which a golf cart can be driven, this will need approval from the Board. The Public Works Director has reviewed the route (see attached map) and did not have any concerns.
Staff has obtained the necessary hold harmless agreement and certificate of liability insurance and both have been reviewed by Risk Management. We will also request written confirmation from the Nassau County Sheriff's Office and Nassau County Fire Rescue that they will assist to ensure a safe and organized event.
