On February 8th, a sink hole developed on Amelia Island Parkway between Arbor Drive and Sable Palm Road due to damage to a sewer line. The road collapsed and an opening of over five feet deep developed. NAU put a steel traffic plate over the hole so that traffic could continue while they waited for a contractor to access the situation. JB Coxwell Contracting, Inc. was ultimately hired and made repairs to the pipe on February 9th at an estimated cost of $16,358.91 |
