| | | | | | | | | Background: | The American Beach Property Owner's Association is requesting permission to hold the annual "American Beach Jazz Festival" at Burney Park on Saturday, May 20th and Saturday, July 15th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. They have also requested use of electrical outlets for the band equipment.
The Association has read Ordinance No. 2014-001, Festival Permits, and has signed the associated Affidavit verifying that there will not be more than 300 people in attendance, therefore a Festival Permit is not needed. They have indicated they will hire an off-duty police officer to be onsite for the duration of both events. Staff will insure that the necessary Hold Harmless Agreement and Certificate of Liability Insurance is provided prior to the events.
