Background:
The Sheriff's Office is requesting to remove $20,000 from the Crime Prevention Trust Fund to be donated to the Family Nurturing Center in Nassau County. The Family Nurturing Center provides a safe place for visitation and exchange services for families impacted by divorce, custody battles, and domestic violence. Pursuant to Florida Statute, Section 775.083, the County in consultation with the Sheriff must expend monies from the Crime Prevention Trust Fund for crime prevention programs.

Sheriff's Business - Authorize use of $20,000 from the Crime Prevention Trust Fund to be donated to the Family Nurturing Center of Nassau County. Funding Source: 01031521-549036 CRMPV.
