Background:
The County has engaged Barth Associates, LLC, Contract No. CM2962, for assistance with recreation services, guidance, planning and program development. To be sure the County has an experienced team of park planners to develop and make recommendations consistent with the Nassau County Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan, Amendment Five (5) to Contract No. CM2962 is necessary. Contract CM2962-A5 will extend the Barth Associates contract by one year and increase the total contract amount by $80,000.
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No.CM2962-A5 with Barth Associates LLC., for professional services related to park planning, recreation service guidance and program development, in the amount of $80,000.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
An experienced team of park planners is useful to develop and make recommendations consistent with the Nassau County Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
