| | | | | | | | | Background: | In January 2018 the Board of County Commissioners approved an agreement with EltonAlan, Inc. to provide Continuing Engineering Services, Contract No. CM2499. In September 2021 the Board approved EltonAlan, Inc. to provide Engineering & Design work for improvements to Pratt Siding Road (CM2499-WA06).
Additional design work is required for the approved Pratt Siding Capital Improvement project due to the railroad crossing revisions of this project. EltonAlan, Inc. submitted a quote and an estimate of work to reflect the revisions of the Railroad Crossing Location in the amount of $53,160.87. | | Request: | | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No. CM2499-A2-WA08, with EltonAlan, Inc. in the amount of $53,160.87 for Engineering Design required by the revisions due to the Railroad Crossing on Pratt Siding Road. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | | Professional Engineering Design will ensure the project will be designed to reflect the railroad crossing location.
