Background:
The Women's Center of Jacksonville has requested a local proclamation declaring April 2023 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Nassau County. Nassau County Victim Advocate, Lori Armstrong, will be in attendance to accept the Resolution.
Request:
Approve a Resolution proclaiming the month of April 2023 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Nassau County, Florida.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
There is no financial impact however raising awareness about sexual assault and institute a culture of change to end sexual violence.

Approve a Resolution proclaiming the month of April 2023 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Nassau County, Florida.
