| | | | | | | | | Background: | On February 16, 2023, the County received sealed bids in response to the invitation to bid for Mowing Services, NC23-012-ITB, which was comprised of 4 items as follows:
- Item #1 - Amelia Island Mowing Services
- Item #2 - Amelia Island Parkway Mowing Services
- Item #3 - High Pedestrian Areas Mowing Services
- Item #4 - Amelia Concourse Landscape Maintenance Mowing Services.
Staff recommends the following: Award Freedom Landscape and Lawn Maintenance, Inc. Items 1, 2 and 3, Contract No. CM3348; Award Eagle Lawn Care of NE Florida, Inc. Item #4, Contract No. CM3346. | | Request: | | Consider the following: Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No. CM3348, with Freedom Landscape and Lawn Maintenance, Inc., for Amelia Island Mowing Services, Amelia Island Parkway Mowing Services, and High Pedestrian Areas Mowing Services; Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No. CM3346, with Eagle Lawn Care of NE Florida, for Amelia Concourse Landscape Maintenance Mowing Services. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | These contracts will continue to provide mowing services for these areas, which have previously been contracted out.
