Item Title:	Memorandum of Understanding with Feeding Northeast Florida

Background:
The Regional Foodbank of Northeast Florida (Feeding Northeast Florida), is the largest food bank serving 8 northeast Florida counties, including Nassau. In coordination with the Nassau County Emergency Operations, Feeding Northeast Florida would assist during times of major disaster and during post-disaster recovery. The Memorandum of Understanding described basic responsibilities of both the County and Feeding Northeast Florida, how efforts would be coordinated in the event if a disaster.
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Feeding Northeast Florida for disaster relief assistance.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Public-private partnerships are vital in the preparation and response to major disasters within Nassau County. Having an existing MOU should work to promote quick response in a time of need.

Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Feeding Northeast Florida for disaster relief assistance.
