| | | | | | | | | Background: | | S2L, Incorporated Project Team will provide qualified professional labor to complete groundwater and surface water sampling, laboratory analyses, and reporting to support Nassau County in compliance with Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) permit conditions and the requirements of FDEP Rule 62-701, FAC. S2Li Project Team will prepare two (2) Semi-Annual Water Quality Monitoring Reports for the West Nassau and one Annual (Spring Event) Water Quality Monitoring Report for Lofton Creek Landfills during FY2024 (October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024). S2Li Project Team will use groundwater level measurements and field and laboratory results from analyses of collected groundwater and surface water samples to complete the semi-annual FDEP data reporting requirements. | | Request: | | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No. CM2685-WA44 with S2L, Incorporated, for Semi-Annual Water Quality Monitoring Services in the amount of $56,996.94. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | | FDEP requires continued sampling, analysis and monitoring of closed landfills.
