| | | | | | | | | Background: | On August 7, 2023, the Tourist Development Council approved Resolution 2023-135 which recommends to the Board of County Commissioners the use of Tourist Development Tax (TDT) dollars to engage several professional service providers to execute services in fiscal year 2023-2024. The TDC Resolution finds the Strategic Plan and use of TDT funds will enhance visitor experiences, promote tourism on Amelia Island, and grow the tourism market.
On February 3, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners entered into Contract No. CM3327 with My Agency Savannah, LLC for Graphic Design services. Nassau County and My Agency Savannah, LLC wish to request a Resolution approving the use of Tourist Development Tax Dollars and to amend existing Contract CM3327 to extend the term of the Contract to September 30, 2024 and increase the contract amount to $93,400.00. | | Request: | | Consider the following: 1) Approve a Resolution authorizing the use of Tourist Development Tax dollars for graphic design services with My Agency Savannah, LLC; 2) Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No. CM3327-A1 with My Agency Savannah, LLC for graphic design services in the amount of $43,600. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | | The use of Tourist Development Tax Dollars will enhance visitor experiences, promote tourism on Amelia Island and in Nassau County an grow the tourism market thus increasing revenue within Nassau County.
