Item Title:Authorization for Use of Impact Fees

Background:

Impact fees are no longer collected in the Nassau County Impact Fee Ordinance Fund (Fund 141).  To fully utilize the remaining balance available in Fire/Rescue District 3, Staff is requesting the remaining balance be designated for the construction and additional expansion and capacity of Fire Station 30.

Request:

Authorize Chairman to sign a Financial Action Form for Usage of Impact Fees for Fire Station 30.

Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:

Developers pay Impact Fees to the County, which alleviates a portion of project costs to taxpayers.

Action Requested and Recommendation:

Authorize Chairman to sign a Financial Action Form for Usage of Impact Fees for Fire Station 30.
