Background:
Nassau County uses Microsoft for sole functionality of County email and various office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive, Planner, Project etc. Upon execution, this contract renewal will last three years and ensure that Nassau County is getting best pricing.
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No. CM3557, with Microsoft Corporation, for Microsoft Licensing Renewal in the amount of $353,173.08 for a three-year period.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Total cost of this contract is $353,173.08 for three years, split into annual payments of $117,724.36 and included in annual departmental budget requests.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No. CM3557, with Microsoft Corporation, for Microsoft Licensing Renewal in the amount of $353,173.08 for a three-year period.
