| | | | | | | | | Background: | In 2024, Nassau County will celebrate its Bicentennial Celebration throughout the year. As part of the 2050 Vision Plan (County-wide visioning exercise) creation process, the County will facilitate a series of community-wide engagement events. On August 14, 2023, Nassau County entered into an agreement with the Amelia Island Convention and Visitor's Bureau to source, organize, and manage the Nassau County Bicentennial Celebration Events.
In order to further accomplish the organization and management of the Bicentennial Celebration, a variety of agreements, contracts license agreements and other related documents will be required. To expedite the execution of said documents, the County Manager seeks the delegation of authority to execute documents related to the Bicentennial Celebration.
