Item Title:	Rejection of Bids for Stormwater Lift Station Services

Background:
In May 2023, the County advertised the Stormwater Lift Station Services Invitation to Bid NC23-040 and unfortunately no responses were received. Stormwater Lift Station Services was rebid (ITB NC23-040R) October 3, 2023, through November 16, 2023. The County notified 1,482 vendors of the bid advertisement. Procurement received one response. Because of the single response, it was recommended to reject all bids for the solicitation. A Notice of Intent to Reject was advertised on December 6, 2023. Staff has determined and agrees that changes to the scope and refining the price sheet may attract more bidders. The Public Works Procurement Team will jointly work with Facilities Maintenance to ensure the specifications are adequately outlined and all stormwater lift stations are identified.
Request:
Reject all bids received in response to Invitation to Bid NC23-040R for Stormwater Lift Station Services.

Rejection of this ITB will ensure that Nassau County obtains the best pricing for the services.
