| | | | | | | | Background: | On October 13, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners advertised Invitation to Bid, NC23-058 for pavement markings services, with two responsive and responsible bidders received: TRP Construction Group, LLC and P&P Striping, LLC.
Staff recommends engaging both vendors to support the pavement marking needs for the County. TRP Construction Group, LLC as the primary provider for pavement marking services and P&P Striping, LLC as the secondary provider. Each contract is in an amount not to exceed $300,000, with terms up to three (3) years (one-year original term with the option for up to two (2) one-year extensions). Any work performed shall be committed by a separate Work Authorization and/or Purchase Order. | Request: | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No. CM3597 with TRP Construction, LLC, and Contract No. CM3593 with P&P Striping, LLC, for pavement markings services, with each contract in an amount not to exceed $300,000. | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | These contracts will ensure the pavement marking needs for the County are performed by vendors with the proper expertise and services can be met in a timely manner.
