Background:

The Conditional Use and Variance Board reviews and makes approval determinations regarding conditional use requests and requests for variances.

 

Per Nassau County Ordinance 2003-62, each Conditional Use and Variance Board (CUVB) member shall serve a (3) year staggered term. The CUVB includes one member from each County Commission district and two at-large members.

 

Mr. Jason Collins, District 3 Representative, has resigned from his appointment on the Conditional Use and Variance Board.  District 3 Commissioner Gray recommends the appointment of Joseph Zimmerman to fill the District 3 vacancy to a term effective February 12, 2024 through October 31, 2025.

Request:
Consider the appointment of Joseph Zimmerman as the District 3 Representative on the Conditional Use and Variance Board to a term effective February 12, 2024 through October 31, 2025.
