$1,069,845 for the construction of safety improvements on Amelia Island Parkway Trail –
Phase 3 Improvements.
FDOT is requesting Nassau County to Sign the Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement for
the Construction and oversite of CEI project management of the bike path / trial on Amelia
Island Parkway Trail from Bailey Road to 14th Street. | | Request: | | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution authorizing the execution of the LAP Agreement Contract No CM3608 with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the construction and CEI of the Amelia Island Parkway Trail from Bailey Road to 14th Street | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | | The Amelia Island Trail is a 17 mile north-south trail spine to develop a safe and viable nonvehicular transportation system in the form of a shared use path network that runs from the southern tip of the Island to downtown Fernandina Beach on the north end of the Island.
