The Concours is requesting to close the northbound lane on A1A/South Fletcher Avenue on March 2nd and 3rd, from 6:00am - 7:00pm, starting where the northbound left turn lane begins to the white stopping line at the intersection of Amelia Island Parkway (135 feet total). The left turn lane from northbound A1A/South Fletcher Avenue would become a through and turn lane. The closed lane and intersection will be controlled by a Nassau County Sheriff's Deputy. | | Request: | | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Temporary Closing of State Road Permit for the Concours d'Elegance on February 29 - March 3, 2024. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | | The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance greatly benefits the local economy as it draws visitors and generates Tourist Development Taxes from lodging establishments.
