Item Title:Crawford Road Improvements Project Agreements for Right of Way - Amendments

Background:

On October 10, 2016 the Commission entered into an agreement with Rayonier (RATC) and Terrapointe for the acquisition of approximately 45 acres of property to be used as Right of Way to construct the Crawford Road improvements.    

The property owners and the County have responsibilities and duties incorporated in the agreement that have specific dates and timeframes associated with them.  It is the desire of the property owners and in the best interest of the County to amend some of those dates and timeframes.  We do not anticipate these amendments to delay the project and amendments such as this were anticipated when the agreement was executed.  

The attached amendments are based on the previous agreements, however, there are two (2) amendments to execute since the land is owned by two entities.  (It should be noted that there are no differences in the amendments aside from the owners.)

Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign amendments to the agreements with Rayonier Atlantic Timber Company, Contract No. CM2367-A1, and Terrapointe, LLC, Contract Number CM2368-A1, modifying certain dates and timeframes related to the Crawford Road Improvements Project.

Staff recommends that the Commission approve the amendments and authorize the Chairman to sign the attached Amendments to Donation Agreement for Public Right of Way (CM 2367 A1 and CM 2368 A1).
