| | | | | | | | | Background: | | Request Board consideration of an Interlocal Agreement between Nassau County Board of County Commissioners and the City of Fernandina Beach to address the issuance of building permits for vertical and horizontal improvements in conjunction with the development of the Crane Island PUD. Pursuant to the Interlocal Agreement the County and the City agree that all permits for vertical construction will be reviewed and issued by the City of Fernandina Beach. The County shall be responsible for permits for horizontal improvements including roadways, sidewalks and grading until the annexation process is completed. At that time, the City will be responsible for horizontal and vertical permitting. | | Request: | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign an Interlocal Agreement with the the City of Fernandina Beach, Contract No. CM2421, to address the issuance of building permits for the Crane Island Planned Unit Development.
