Item Title:	Contract for Professional Auditing Services

Background:

On March 28, 2017, seven (7) proposals were received in response to the Request for Proposals for Professional Auditing Services, Bid No. NC17-008 (see Tab A). The Evaluation Committee met on April 10, 2017 to evaluate/score and rank the proposals for short-listing purposes (see Tab B). The results are as follows:

Request:

Consider the following: 1) approve the Evaluation Committee's scoring and ranking for Request for Proposals received in response to Bid No. NC17-008, Professional Auditing Services; and 2) appoint the specific members to the negotiation committee and authorize negotiation committee to begin contract negotiations with the top ranked firm, Carr Riggs and Ingram, to be brought back to the Board for final approval.
