| | | | | | | | | Background: | On October 19, 2016, the Board authorized staff to issue a Request for Proposals for Professional Auditing Services. RFPs were received and on June 12, 2017, the board awarded Bid No. NC17-008 to the top ranked firm, Carr Riggs & Ingram and authorized a contract to be brought back for Board approval. Contract negotiations were held on June 30, 2017 and a final contract is being presented to the Board for approval. Said agreement shall be effective for three years from the date signed, with option for two one-year extensions.
This item was originally scheduled on the July 10th agenda, however the Board continued it to July 19th and again to July 24th. | | Request: | Continue consideration of request to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Professional Auditing Services Agreement with Carr Riggs & Ingram, Contract No. CM2444, for external auditing services for the period of July 10, 2017 through July 9, 2020.
