Item Title:Fleet Replacement Program Revisions

Background:

The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution 2011-149 establishing the Board Fleet Replacement Program effective October 1, 2011.  The Fleet Replacement Team recommends changes to the adopted program, specifically:

1.  Section 5.2 Life Cycle (Table 1 Schedule of Life Cycles);

2.  Section 5.5 Replacement Criteria, paragraphs e. Maximum Cost to Repair and f.  Maximum Total Repairs.

Request:

Approve a Resolution amending the adopted Fleet Replacement Program, Resolution No. 2011-149, which established a Fleet Replacement Program for the Board of County Commissioners, providing an effective date of October 1, 2017.

Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:

The adopted Fleet Replacement Program guides the annual fleet replacement plan.

Action Requested and Recommendation:
Approve a resolution revising Resolution 2011-149 Fleet Replacement Program, with an effective date of 10/1/17.
