| | | | | | | | | Background: | | On July 6, 2016, the BOCC entered into an agreement with The Bailey Group to provide Broker/Agent Services for Nassau County employee insurance offerings. The initial term will be ending September 30, 2017 with the options for a possible modification of the renewal date through December 30, 2017 to coincide with the County's insurance benefits programs. The agreement additionally provided for a renewal option to extend for a period of one (1) year increments for up to three (3) additional consecutive one (1) year terms. | | Request: | | Consider the following: 1) approve to modify the anniversary/renewal date of Broker/Agent Services to coincide with the County's insurance benefit programs by extending the current agreement through December 31, 2017; and 2) authorize the Chairman to sign Amendment No. 1 to the contract with The Bailey Group, Contract No. CM2328-A1, for Broker Services for the period of January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | $72,000 to be budgeted in the Human Resources budget in FY17/18.
