| | | | | | | | | Background: | In September 2014, the Board approved a contract with Hayworth Creative to provide public relations services for the Amelia Island Tourist Development Council. The current contract expires September 30, 2017 however it allows for extensions in one (1) year increments.
| | Request: | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Hayworth Creative, Contract No. CM1876-A1, to provide Public Relations for the Amelia Island Tourist Development Council for the period of October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018.
| | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | | The tourism industry generates approximately $750 million to the economy of Nassau County, employs 25% of the workforce and generates 38% of the sales taxes collected in the County.
