Background:
The Long Range Plan is required for the State Aid grant application. It is updated every five years. This Plan is for 2018-22. This plan was developed after holding community focus groups and surveying our communities. The Plan is intended to provide guidance over the next five, there is no penalty if the goals are not met.
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Library's Long Range Plan of Service, as required for the State Aid to Libraries Grant Application.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
The State Aid grant provides additional funding for library services.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
Approve and sign Long Range Plan 2018-2022. This is due in Tallahassee by Oct. 1, 2017.
