Item Title:Discussion of Legislative Priorities for Legislative Session

Background:

Each year, the County provides their top three Legislative Priorities to County Lobbyist, Mark Anderson, for him to present during Legislative Session in an attempt to obtain funding for the County.

 

Last year, the County's three priorities were:

 

1) Nassau Oaks Subdivision Roadway Improvements

2) Westside Regional Park - Phase 1

3) Public Safety Training Center

 

Staff respectfully requests the Board to determine their top three (3) priorities to be submitted for this year's Legislative Session.

Request:

Discuss/identify the County's top three Legislative Priorities to be considered during this year's Legislative Session.


Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
If any priorities are approved by the Governor, the County could receive State funding to assist with the projects identified.
