Background:
A District Medical Examiner has been appointed by the Governor to serve Clay, Nassau and Duval Counties and the District Medical Examiner is to be compensated for her services. Duval has allocated the annual salary for the Medical Examiner and Nassau County should reimburse Duval for the value of the services received. Costs are per case and determined by the services required. This is a three year contract commencing on Oct. 1, 2017 through Sept. 30, 2020.
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Cooperative Agreement with the City of Jacksonville, Contract No. CM2491, for Medical Examiner Services and Reimbursement. Funding Source: 01271527-531000.
