| | | | | | | | | Background: | | The County entered into a contract with Mark Anderson in January of 2003 for his services as a lobbyist to represent Nassau County before the Legislature, the Cabinet, the Governor and administrative agencies. A copy of the original agreement and all amendments thereto are attached. It has been determined that it is necessary to further amend the agreement to include that the Lobbyist shall continue to represent the County before the Legislature and the state agencies and to meet monthly with the County Attorney and County Manager to address state agency issues and programs and address the issues and programs as directed by the County Attorney. Addendum #13 (copy attached) to the agreement authorized an amendment to the term of the agreement to reflect the performance period through September 30, 2018. There will be no increase to the fee for the services rendered by the Lobbyist. | | Request: | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Addendum No. 14 to the Agreement for Lobbyist Services between the Board of County Commissioners and Mark Anderson, Contract No. CM1143-A14.
