Background:
The Concerned Citizens of Hilliard have coordinated an MLK Walking Event for Monday, January 15, 2018 which will require a temporary road closure on U.S. Highway 1. The Florida Department of Transportation requires a permit and a Temporary Closing of State Road Permit Form must be signed by the Sheriff and Board of County Commissioners. The Sheriff's Office will be providing traffic control.
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Temporary Closing of State Road Permit form as required by the Florida Department of Transportation for the MLK Walk on Monday, January 15, 2018.
