| | | | | | | | | Background: | | The Florida Legislature appropriated funds for the South Amelia Island Shore Stabilization (SAISSA) in the amount of $444,132.00. The agreement had an original deadline of December 31, 2017, however staff had some concerns and has been meeting with Bill Moore, SAISSA Legal Counsel, Buddy Jacobs, and FDEP Staff to come to resolution. There are still some outstanding issues so as of December 13, 2017, FDEP has granted a 30 day extension.
