Pursuant to the Board's direction and discussion at the December 20, 2017 meeting, request consideration of a Resolution setting forth requirements for a citizen application for a boating-restricted area, pursuant to Section 327.46(1), Florida Statutes.   The application should include certain criteria as set forth in F.A.C. 68D-21.001.  Upon submittal of the required information, it will be transmitted in draft ordinance form to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for review.  Upon review and "sign off" by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the Board may conduct a public hearing for the consideration of the draft ordinance. 

Additionally, if the Board desires to consider this resolution, also request consideration of a fee to be assessed pursuant to Section 5 of the draft resolution, for the processing of an application for a boating restricted area pursuant to Section 327.46(1), Florida Statutes.
