Item Title:AHAC Recommendations for the Local Housing Plan

Background:

On December 20, 2016, the Board was provided an information agenda item containing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee's recommendation to section G (Incentives) of the Local Housing Assistance Plan. The Board must now approve the recommended incentive strategies which will be included in the next revision of the County's Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP).

 

The amended LHAP must be approved by the local governing body within 90 days of receipt of AHAC's recommendation. The amended LHAP will be scheduled for the March 26, 2018 meeting for Board approval.
