| | | | | | | | | Background: | On Friday, July 20, 2018, the County was notified that the FDLE has set aside $46,810 in Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program funds for Nassau County to be used by all units of government within the County. As a condition of participation in this program, the units of government must reach a consensus concerning expenditure of the funds.
The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners signed the Certificate of Participation at the July 23, 2018 meeting. As required by State of Florida, Rule 11D-9, Florida Administrative Code, 51% letters must be signed by each municipality and submitted to FDLE.
