| | | | | | | | | Background: | | On July 24, 2000, the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida adopted Ordinance No. 2000-26 which established minimum standards governing health and general welfare, maintenance, removal or demolition of unsafe buildings or structures, and adopted the 1985 Edition of the Standard Unsafe Building Abatement Code. It has become necessary to rescind Ordinance 2000-26 and adopt a new ordinance to establish a current unsafe building abatement code pursuant to the standards set forth in the current Florida Building Code.
