Background:
The Board has designated $390,280 in Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Funds for construction of a new County Extension Facility on 8 acres of County-owned property on Miner Road in Yulee. UF/IFAS would like to apply for an Agriculture Education and Promotion Facility Request for Funding from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division to obtain additional funding to assist with construction of the new facility. They are seeking a Resolution of Support from the County to include with the Grant Application.
Request:
Approve a Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, expressing support for the University of Florida's Agriculture Education and Promotion Facility Request for Funding to assist with construction of a new County Extension facility.
