Since 2015, the Amelia Island Tourist Development Council has been hosting the holiday lighting program which consists of wrapping all the trees and lining all the roofs on Centre Street with class white lights. The TDC has hired We Decorate of Jacksonville to install and remove lights on participating buildings. Installation will begin the week of October 30th and We Decorate will utilize a cherry picker machine to access the rooftops. They will begin removing lights on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
In order to participate, each property has to sign an authorization form. Per his contract, the County Manager is authorized to sign documents as owner on behalf of the Board. Mr. Mullin signed the necessary form. Attached is a copy for the Board's information.
Note: In lieu of requesting a new authorization form every year, this year's form provides authorization for the Historic Courthouse to participate for future years. However, the County can notify them if/when we decide we would like to no longer participate. |
