| | | | | | | | | Background: | Amelia Bluff is a new subdivision being built across from the Fernandina High School by DR Holland. This subdivision will have 47 home sites. To provide sewer services to this development the contractor must run the line under Citrona, which is County maintained, and tie into the school’s sanitary sewer manhole. Installation of the pipes requires a right of way permit from Nassau County. As part of the installation, the County is also requiring that the subdivision assume responsibility for the maintenance of the private facilities within the right of way including under the County’s roadway.
The attached maintenance agreement requires that all installation meets Nassau County requirements and at no cost to the County all installation and repairs will be the responsibility of Amelia Bluff, LLC. It should also be noted that this agreement will become part of the subdivision’s Covenants and Restrictions. A copy of the recorded agreement will be required prior to the issuance of the right of way permit.
