Background:

Each year, the County provides their top three (3) Legislative Priorities to County Lobbyist, Mark Anderson, for him to present during the Legislative Session in an attempt to obtain funding for the County.

 

Last year the top three priorities were:

1) William Burgess Extension from US 17 to Miner Rd.

2) Public Safety Training Facility

3) Mizell Tract Westside Regional Park

 

Request:
Discuss/identify the County's top three Legislative Priorities to be considered during the 2019 Legislative Session.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
If any priorities are approved by the Governor, the County could receive State funding to assist with the projects identified
