Background:

The County Manager's Office received a letter from the Florida Association of Counties notifying the Board of a vacancy on the FAC Board of Directors for District 4 due to George Spicer's term as County Commissioner ending. As such, the Board is being requested to identify a replacement to complete the unexpired term ending in June 2020 of the FAC Board of Directors.

 

The Board of Directors is comprised of one county commissioner for each state senate district, five executive officers, six county commissioners appointed at-large, and the past presidents of the Association. Meetings are typically held in conjunction with FAC Conferences.
