Item Title:Gooding & Company Auction for 2019

Background:

The Amelia Concours d'Elegance will take place March 7-10, 2019. In conjunction with that event, the OMNI Amelia Island Planation will be hosting an auction for Gooding & Company. Due to the size of the event, they are again requesting to utilize Burney Park for additional parking on Thursday, March 7th and Friday, March 8th. OMNI Amelia Island Plantation's shuttle will transport guests between Burney Park and the auction during its hours of operation.

 

If approved, staff suggests that the event organizer be required to leave open all handicapped parking spaces and a minimum of 10 parking spaces for the public's use.

Consider request from OMNI Amelia Island Plantation for use of Burney Park on Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8, 2019, as additional parking for the Gooding and Company Action being held in conjunction with the Concours d'Elegance.
