Background:
In Ordinance 2015-16 the Board of County Commissioners adoped a new Floodplain Ordinance to adopt flood hazard maps, to designate a floodplain administrator and to adopt procedures and criteria for development in flood hazard areas. It has become necessary to amend Ordinance No. 2015-16, specifically Section 103.2, General Duties and Powers of the Floodplain Administrator .
Request:
Consider an Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, amending Ordinance No. 2015-16, specifically Section 103.2 regarding General Duties and Powers of the Floodplain Administrator; providing an effective date. Note: Staff requests this item to be pulled from the agenda.
