Background:

The proposed Concourse Crossing Planned Unit Development (PUD) consists of approximately 85.7 acres located on the north and south sides of Amelia Concourse, east and west of CR107 (Old Nassauville Road) and between Frank Ward Road and Terra Cotta Lane The Concourse Crossing PUD will consist of up 247 detached single-family residential and/or attached single-family residential units. 

The Concourse Crossing PUD will also provide regional transportation improvements, public recreation, integrated multi-use pathways, neighborhood parks and incorporate community design guidelines that are intended to create a more compact efficient development pattern than could otherwise be achieved through strict application of the Land Development Code.

A proportionate share agreement to provide fees in lieu of providing a community park shall be considered, by the Board of County Commissioners, concurrently with this rezoning application. The Board of County Commissioners shall have the discretion to approve or not approve a proportionate share agreement concurrently with the rezoning to Planned Unit Development.

This legislation is still in review. Therefore the applicant has requested a continuance of this item to February 11, 2019.

Consider R18-003, filed by JOCO Amelia Company, LLC, and Nassau 1 Amelia LLC, owners, and Prosser, Inc., agent for owner, to rezone approximately 85.7 acres from Open Rural (OR) to a Planned Unit Development (PUD) to be known as "Concourse Crossing". Property is located on the north and south sides of Amelia Concourse, east and west of Old Nassauville Road and between Frank Ward Road and Terra Cotta Lane, Fernandina Beach area. (The applicant has requested continuance of this item to March 25, 2019)
