| | | | | | | | | Background: | The Right Whale Festival will take place on Amelia Island on November 2 and 3, 2019. Most of the event will fall under the jurisdiction of the City of Fernandina Beach. However, the event organization, Ms. Ali Myles, has contact the County requesting to use the North End Boat Ramp to launch approximately 75 kayaks on Sunday, November 3rd. The tour will be lead by Kayak Amelia who will also be covering the event under the liability insurance. The organizer has also requested permission for event participants to park in the back portion of the boat ramp parking area.
Facilities Maintenance and Risk Management has reviewed this request and both indicated they didn't have any concerns.
