Item Title:County Attorney Exhibit "A" Update

Background:

On March 2, 2015 the County entered into an employment contract with Mr. Michael S. Mullin to perform duties as the County Attorney.  On September 19, 2018 the Board agreed to extend Mr. Mullin's contract until September 30, 2022. 

 

On March 25, 2019 the Board entered into a second employment contract with Mr. Michael S. Mullin to also perform the duties as the County Manager.  At this meeting it was requested the duty of developing a succession plan also be added to his employment contract for the County Attorney.  

Request:
Review and approve amended County Attorney Employment contract, Exhibit "A", Duties of the County Attorney, to include the addition of #11 - "Responsible for developing a succession plan for the County Attorney position."

Human Resources requests approval of the amended Exhibit "A", DUTIES OF THE COUNTY ATTORNEY, to include the addition of #11 - "Responsible for developing a succession plan for the County Attorney position."
