Item Title:Dornbush Project (Bid No. NC19-013) Recommendation of Awards/Execution of Requisition

Background:

On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, four (4) bids were received (Tab A) in response to the Invitation to Bid for Dornbush Outfall Project.  Upon evaluation of the bids received (Tab B), Dunmar Group was the lowest bid received, $199,728.00.  Staff recommends Dunmar Group be awarded the Dornbush Outfall Project.

 

Time Line:  Staff anticipates starting the project early June 2019 (Project Duration of 120 Days) and anticipated completion October 2019.

Request:
Consider the following: 1) award Bid No. NC19-013 to the Dunmar Group, in the amount of $199,728, for the Dornbush Outfall Project; 2) authorize the Chairman to sign associated Requisition; and 3) authorize the Road & Bridge Director to issue the Notice to Proceed contingent upon receipt of the required bonds and insurance. Funding Source: 03402541-546510 DORNB.

1. Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the following Requisition CT37-19 (Tab C) for Dornbush Outfall Project to Dunmar Group for $199,728.00.  2. Authorize the Road & Bridge Director to issue the Notice to Proceed contingent upon receipt of the required bonds and insurance.
