| | | | | | | | Background: | As requested we have investigated the property adjacent to the Holly Point Boat Ramp and we feel that the property would be a value to the county for the use as green space or additional parking. The county currently owns the water frontage adjacent this property that could accommodate a possible fishing dock.
Currently the property is listed for sale at $115,000.00, with a current market value appraisal market price is $43,100.00 [see attached appraisal and map]. | Request: | Discussion of the property adjacent to the Holly Point Boat Ramp | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | Undetermined at this time. | Action Requested and Recommendation: | If the Board finds the property to be of interest for future use, we recommend Board of County Commissioners consider negotiations with the listing agent to acquire the property. | Is this action consistent with the Nassau County Comprehensive Land Use Plan? | | Funding Source: | To be determined after negotiations. |
