Item Title:Discussion of the property adjacent to the Holly Point Boat Ramp

Background:

As requested we have investigated the property adjacent to the Holly Point Boat Ramp and we feel that the property would be a value to the county for the use as green space or additional parking. The county currently owns the water frontage adjacent this property that could accommodate a possible fishing dock.

Currently the property is listed for sale at $115,000.00, with a current market value appraisal market price is $43,100.00 [see attached appraisal and map].

Request:
Discussion of the property adjacent to the Holly Point Boat Ramp 
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Undetermined at this time. 
Action Requested and Recommendation:
If the Board finds the property to be of interest for future use, we recommend Board of County Commissioners consider negotiations with the listing agent to acquire the property.
