Background:
The Florida Housing Coalition (FHC) is commonly acknowledged as the foremost authority in Florida on affordable housing, homelessness, community development and related issues, as a clearinghouse for information, a provider of training and technical assistance for state housing funding, and an advocate at the state and national levels for people in need of affordable housing. Each year FHC hosts an annual Affordable Housing Conference that draws more than 800 housing professionals from all over the state for networking and training opportunities. FHC accepted nominations through May 15th, for affordable housing success story awards that include at least one source of state housing funding like SHIP. Awards will be presented at the conference August 25-28th This video was submitted on behalf of the Nassau County SHIP program.
